Chavira Gets first Pro Point

Three games back and looking better everytime...

Itan Chavira is almost getting regular ice time in the ECHL. His special teams and open ice talents served him very well last night. He did not take any shots and was a minus 1, but got an assist on the power play. This was his first professional point. It came at the beginning of the third, it got Ontario locked 2-2 with Alaska. Alaska went ahead later in the period to pull away with a 3-2 win over the Reign.

Chavira and the Reign head off to British Columbia to take on the Victoria Salmon Kings on Friday and Saturday
