Who deserves Pro Team of the Year? Not necessarily the best team, but whoever you feel was The Team of 2008. If your choice isn't on the poll you can write it in.
Revision Vanquish (NARCh Finals PRO Champs)
Phoenix Dragons (PIHA National Champs)
Team Tour STL (TORHS PRO Tier I Champs, NARCh Finals PRO Bronze Medalists)
LA Pama Cyclones (NARCh Winters[WC Champs,EC Silver],TORHS PRO Runner-up)

not to get into the "Pro - because we play good V Pro - because we get paid" thing, but is this "Pro - because our division in North American tournies is called 'pro' " or open to euro teams as well? e.g. Asiago

For the record - Team Tour STL.
The reason I'm not voting for the Revision Vanquish, is that I am also taking into account the Revision Vanquish's (aka - Revision Mission Militia) 2 championship games losses at the NARCh 2008 West Coast Winternationals. They lost in the Pro final to Pama and they lost in the Jr. Platinum final to the ISCA Grizzlies. Sure, they had a few different players at NARCh Finals in San Jose, and I'm not taking anything away from them, it's just - man for man, I think Team Tour STL would be my pick.
Also, in all fairness, I think if you added the Mission Empire Snipers to the poll, they'd get a few selections too.

When it mattered most, man for man they beat Tour STL 5-3 in the semis at NARCh...
alex.. you the man. you always have my back! Vanquish is the team to beat
Great poll but I think its hard to put a PIHA team in the same category with the teams listed here. Teams like Mission Syndicate, Mission Snipers, and Tour Mudcats would still beat up on a PIHA team. Not knocking PIHA just a different level of players.
Please excuse my somewhat bad understanding of the qualifications or those teams. What determines if a Roller Hockey team is pro or not pro? I read in a previous post that there is a vague understanding of this "get paid, call ourselves, play in "pro" tournaments" etc.
I am curious for many reasons. One of them is that I was lucky enough to get a spot on a "pro skate" a few weeks ago. Very excited to go there, I prepared carefully and taped my stick like there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately, once I arrived, I didn't see a single pro player there; and as far as I understood it was just a regular open skate.
"pro" as used here really means "plays in the elite divisions"
