I have to agree with Doug on this one. You have 4 games total that are 1-0 against the same team on Sunday. This was a valid question to ask. As i was wondering the same thing.
I dont think its a unreasonable question being that they had scores Saturday. So if these were forfeits did the team just leave??
Thank God Someone Was Nice Enough To Put Me On Their Team!
It's a valid question don't jump down someones throat and attack them..... and you must not know doug judging by the statement of "You do nothing but bring negativitey to inline hockey, you should do us all a favor and get out of the sport." If you knew him you would know that was far away from the truth bud.
This is indeed a legitimate question and those who want to, have every right to question what happened. I'd like to think that these questions are in concern for what actually happened and not in jest, however, I'm not entirely certain that is always the case.
Let's be honest, there are probably a large number of people on either side of the fence who are just waiting for something bad to happen to the opposing league and they are unfortunately all too ready to pounce when it does..
It's pretty safe to say that neither league will run flawlessly from start to finish this season. Both leagues are run somewhat similarly, but with a few major exceptions and that is where teams made the decision to go one way or another. It's understandable that when this many people are involved, people are bound to choose a side and defend it because in the end, that is what they believe in and that is fine. I believe that I am in the best possible situation, but there are others playing elsewhere who believe that they are as well and that's fine too.
I would like to propose that all of the backhanded comments and the sarcastic remarks end now. There are a lot of things that have happened over the past few months that I totally disagree with and I have bit my lip the entire time. I have decided to continue to take the high road and leave well enough alone. Perhaps we should all bite our lips. My father used to tell me that if I had nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. My father was a very wise man and I'm going to choose to follow his advice. Here's to hoping that everyone will decide to do the same and just simply move forward.
Good luck to both the AIHL and PIHA this season. I'm in hopes that the efforts of both leagues and their respective teams will eventually lead to something better for all of us.
See you at the rink,
Ruppy Hailey
My teeth are so buried in my lip that Im eventually going to keel over and die from loss of blood. I hope people are writing **** down, cause a book needs to be published. Glad to see hockey starting up, its been an off-season like no other.

The Raleigh games on Sunday were forfeits, I think they left from the rink while we were playing Georgia.

Josh Silverman,
I don't know you nor have I met you. Obviously it's a message board and your entitled to say how you feel.
Do me a favor, though, we've never met, so I'd like the opportunity to meet you in the future. We're in New Jersey late February and March, so come on out and introduce yourself.
Doug

Hi Folks,
It appears that Ruppy's request for civility was ignored. I don't like cliches, but I think that the old saw:
"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" became a cliche because it's true.
Please ask yourselves this question before you post: "Is my post going to further the growth of inline hockey in any way, or will it just drag it down another notch?"
I have not banned anyone in quite some time, but I'm not as patient as I used to be... and I've never been patient. A word to the wise.![]()
Sincerely,
Richard Graham

Thanks Rich,
People who use anonymity to attack others because they are cowards has always been one of my pet peeves. Roller hockey has always suffered from these people who sit behind a screen and attack while using a pseudonym and feeling safe.
I appreciate you removing the posts.
