I see threads on this board about ECRHL, SECRHL, Great Plains etc predictions. With the San Jose tournament quickly approaching what are everyones predictions? Surprise Teams, New Teams, any team you are looking forward to seeing this season etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing Arizona State play. I was definitely disappointed when I found out they won't be able to make the trip to San Jose. We haven't started yet, but I think they're already the team to beat.

After much discussion we were allowed to miss the San Jose tournament, I'll try not to drag down this thread with all the details. You can PM me if you're interested though. Basically, in this, our inaugural season as a program, we couldn't have been ready or capable of making that trip (13 hours one-way for us). We've tried for 5 seasons in a row now to get a program at ASU and it's failed, we're barely going to be ready to play November 15 when we start our season here in Phoenix. It's been difficult, having to make that trip would crippled us, Brennan was very reasonable about it. We're sending our B team up to NorCal at least once this season and we'll be in San Jose next year, no doubt. Hell, we could go to San Jose 2nd semester if we had to, just not in October.

Anyway...trying to bring it back to WCRHL DI...we haven't played anyone but I'm going to throw Long Beach State out there as a favorite. UNLV, San Diego State, UC Irvine up there as well. Not really sure how we'll stack up though.

FYI Arizona State will play UNLV at 5pm on November 15th at ASU's home rink - Look for flyers around the facility in the near future. This Nov 15 event in Peoria will feature all 8 Division I teams and probably have the best matchups of the season!

FYI 2 - Schedule for Oct 25-26 Rollin' Ice event will be up by Saturday morning, Oct 11.
