The SC Pirates, the 2008 Southeast division Champions are proud to announce the following partnerships for the upcoming 2008 - 2009 season

Mission Hockey will once again be the official supplier of the Pirates pants, helmets and gloves. Dave Reskey, Director of Promotions for Mission Hockey has been extremely helpful, courteous and professional in getting the Pirates what they needed last season. The 2008 - 2009 season only looks brighter as the Pirates are going to all black with the soldier pant, pro glove and the use of the Mission Pro helmets.

"We are extremely happy to continue to be the official supplier to the Southeast Division Champion Pirates in PIHA. We also offer other competitive equipment packages to other PIHA teams as well", Reskey added.

Revision, last year's official supplier to the SC Pirates, will once again be back as the official wheel.

Nabeel of Revision did an excellent job in getting us what we needed when we needed it. He always made sure we had wheels on time and even took care of a last minute shipment to get us our product in time for the playoffs", Jones said.

"The best wheel I have ever skated on", said Marc Genest, fourth leading scorer in PIHA. "The Revision wheel allows you to cut and turn at top speed without slippage. I find they hold up well and help me accelerate out of turns", Genest finished. (Marc uses the Gold wheel in an 72, 72, 80, 80 set up).

"I noticed a big difference with Revision when I crossed over", Darcy Anderson said (Anderson was sixth in scoring in PIHA overall).

Pro Joy will be the official jersey of the SC Pirates for the 2008 - 2009 season. The Pirates have gone to all black with maroon for their home jerseys and all white with maroon for their away. (Similar to the NHL Flyers third jersey and their home jersey). The Pirates will also have Sponsors on both their jerseys, helmets and pants this year.

"We've been pleasantly surprised with the number of sponsorship opportunities we've had in Little River this year. We look forward to working with the businesses and communities in the area to help us hopefully repeat the performance of the 2008 season", Jones finished.

The Pirates will also be celebrating their anniversary this October in talking to over 2,500 school children again during Red Ribbon week. Last year, Jones, Genest, Wilkinson, Marino and Pal all made appearances to speak to children about staying drug free and making the right choices. For some dates, they were joined by Marvel Comics superhero Spiderman, who also spoke to the school students and started near riots of enthusiasm as he swung into the gymansiums and auditoriums. The Pirates begin the first week of October again and are rumored to have Batman and the Joker with them this year.

Remember, "DRUGS ARE FOR LOSERS!"
