    Odds and Sods

    Hi Folks,

My computer is running slow, so I am trying to clean some stuff off of it. Here are a few shots you might find interesting.

One is of Paul McLeod, who used to cover the Anaheim Bullfrogs and RHI for the Orange County edition of the Los Angeles Times,

The second is the RAV4 that I rolled back in 2001.

The third is an El Camino College player reading a copy of InLine Hockey News back in 1995 or so.

I didn't know anyone on that team could read!!!

Just kidding, I had a couple friends on that team and knew who most of the guys were from them playing a division or two above me at TSA at that time. Not sure who wore #77, maybe it was Ryan Johnson?

    Hi teambergenfield,

Thanks. The Who is one of the best bands of all time, and one of my favorites. Pete Townshend wrote some of the best traveling songs of all time -- get out on the road to "Going Mobile" or "Magic Bus" or "Getting in Tune" or...

Ah, travelling tunes..."Take it Easy", "Magic Carpet Ride", Los Lobos. So many my mind is not able to spit them out individually!

I saw the Who at Shea Stadium during their 1982 "farewell tour":

My buddy and I didn't have tickets so we gave a security guy at one of the doors $5 each to let us in as the band started its first song. We found seats with a perfect sightline. Great, great show.
