    NARCh Rinks

Does anyone know how big the NARCh rinks are? In the past (Florida, Toronto) they've been 200x85 (NHL Ice Rink Size), but since Silver Creek is always roller are they smaller? Also it appears on the schedule as though rink 1 is special in comparison to the others (it plays host to skills comps and championships) - any reason for this? I thought all 3 rinks were the same.

I looked on the website and it didn't say the rink sizes...but usually they put the all-star game, championship and skills comp. on the rink that can hold the most amount of fans.

I was talking to someone at AAU JO's and they said that the rinks are bigger then the Sportsplex rinks but not as big as an NHL rink.

So you all know if you are looking to see if they are bigger down there.

The Rinks at the Sportsplex are 185 x 85
Im back and I will not be sitting around on my butt!
I also love the morons that are still on the board.

the rinks at Rollin ice are very good
they use ice court's and the puck moves very very fast it might take a little to adapting , each rink has a full glass boards so spectaters can see the entire game perfectly , 4 lockerrooms on each rink , showers , but the only thing i dont like is that they are really strict on people skating around the place , they have specific skating zones .

The rinks are awesome and viewer friendly. Rink 1 I would say is the feature rink as in my opinion it is the most visable. Rink 2 also has great views and access but my favorite is Rink 3 because you can sit at High Five Pizza and eat/drink while you watch the games. There is also a lot of tv's to watch your favorite sports. This is a truely awesome sportsplex!

    Re: NARCh Rinks

Things look awesome out here!!! I was here for the qualifier earlier this year and it was great - Rink 2 and 3 are set almost against each other, end boards to end boards with enough space in between for people to get to the lockers....thats the only crowded area, because of the great spots to watch the games there too - other than that the place is HUGE and another great place to host finals

Its a little bigger than Inman as far as size Joe and its pretty much ALL Glass, so the view of each rink is awesome as well

Rink one has the biggest area of viewing around about 65% around plus space behind the closest end boards by the tables and pro shop and its set aside by itself....the back rinks have a little less and one rink you cans sit just up a little at the pizza place - either way you cant beat the views of any rink and there arent long walks around like FL or ONT, everything is super close inside

    and theres wireless too boss

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for the heads up and the details. Find a spot with an outlet and a table, and I'll set up shop. My laptop's battery lasts about 15 minutes. lol.

    Re: NARCh Rinks

I was at the rink earlier today to take my son to pickup. Very exciting! The banners are going up, Mission was setting up their booth, and additional seating was being installed. The pizza place, which is usually just open for lunch and dinner looks like they are getting ready for breakfast also. They were installing a fancy new coffee/espresso/latte machine.

Also got to ask the size of the rinks. They are 180 x 80.

The whole Northern Cal. hockey community is so excited to get this chance to host Narch. One of the owners of the restaurant said their goal is to make it so great that everyone will want to come back as often as possible.

    Can't wait!!
