Maybe we'll get some playing time in the play-offs, half of our division could get kicked out of the league!

Interesting because the Mason/Dixon Division is probably one of the most solid divisions with stability and its functioning. Pittsburgh, Scottsdale, Potomac, Harrisburg, Maryland and Winchester: No forfeits, no missed games, everyone paid at the begining of the season, the games have been well run at all venues, and we have had very limited incidents of suspensions and divisional issues. These posts are exactly the reason that rumors get started. I assure you that no team in the Mason/Dixon is getting kicked out of anything. Once again, it is imperative that we think before we post.

Oh come on Todd we all know the Lunatics never pay their bills.

For those who think I am serious when I say that it is meant purely as a joke. I am friendly with Todd and have the utmost respect for him and the Harrisburg Lunatics.
Im back and I will not be sitting around on my butt!
I also love the morons that are still on the board.

Why is it that every thread is turning into a forfeit thread, I started this one to see everybodys predictions on the 1st round of playoffs, not to see everybody say the same things that they are saying on forfeit threads. So whats everybody thoughts on the upcoming playoff games.

    Re: 1st rnd Playoff Predictions

I know very little about the divisions outside of the mason dixon and southeast so ill stick to those 2.

Potomac vs Harrisburg - Harrisburg wins the first game, if potomac can win the second they have a decent shot at taking the series in three. I base this off the Maryland vs Harrisburg game where harrisburg seemed to have difficulty keeping up for the second game which ended 5-1. Sorry Todd, you guys are so skilled but a three game series might hurt you.

Pitt vs Scottsdale - This should be a very intresting matchup. Im going with Scottsdale in 3. Pitt is missing alot of talents since Keene and Roux did not make the minimum amount of games and who knows if they will even have a full bench. Without these two players it will be difficult to shut down Davis (one of the best players in the division) and King who has put up points all season.

York vs Richmond - I have to pick richmond in two, depending on their goalie situation. Kevin is always solid in net but I have seen a lack of consistency with their second goaile. Nothing personal man. You have played some amazing games against us (especially our game at waldorf where you were a brick wall) but you have also shown some less impressive performances. Best of luck to Richmond

Roux didnt play all season so he is irrelevant to the team this year except as a coach, and Keene only played 12 games and had only 4 points. Keene is just a good defensemen nothing more or less, Im sure Brock Wilson and Chris Weiss(who are both better than Keene, if you dont believe me ask Keene) will pick up the slack.

FYI CJ King is suspended for the first 2 games for fighting.

While on subject though, Roux is back on his skates and will have made a full recovery come 2 weeks from now. We would have liked to have had him back for playoffs, but due to PIHA(CY) and the stupid rules, he was only given 8-10 games for his injury. An injury that was given a 8-10 month recovery period.

What kind of rule is this? B/S..

    Re: 1st rnd Playoff Predictions

There is no question that Brock is an elite player in piha strong on both ends of the rink. I was very impressed by him when we played in pittsbugh (he dominated the first game and was strong in the second). I never said keene was a fantastic goal scorer but he is very smart with the puck missing any member of the jr world team should be considered a serious blow(at least in my opinion). Also i had no idea King was suspended I should admit that i havent looked at the piha site since we were eliminated from playoffs.

I would agree with you that the 20 game rule is horrible. We would have been without our top player (Mike Gardner) because he would have only been able to play a max of 10-12 games.Very glad to hear Roux is back on his skates. Playing against him in tournments is always a highlight. He is a great guy and great player.

Thank you to Pburgh for the new info Ill try and keep my misinformed posts to a minimum from now

The twenty game rule is fine.

contracts and commitments are fuzzy in this sport right now.

The 20 game rule keeps teams from signing 'hired guns' the day before playoffs.

    Wait a moment!!

Who says Brock is good? C'mon!! hahahahaha
j/k Brock is an awesome player. He and Keene are both very good players. dustin Roux has to be chomping at the bits not playing. I would take thse three any time on any team.

Glad to hear youre coming back Dustin. Brock..... keep it up!

Hope to see you both soon!!

    Tell Jon hi too~~
