super hard rear wheel?

I go through rear wheels pretty regular. They deform and get misshapen. I would go through a couple a month if I changed them when I should. This is what I think I need;

I need a rear wheel that is 150 on the hardness scale. I need it made out of some sort of strong plastic or even metal. I figure if I keep the 1st 3 wheels regular outside wheels I would not have to worry about grip.

Is there such a wheel?

What brand of wheel do you use at the minute and what surface do you play on?

And how much are you weighing in at?

I put a softer wheel on the front and back, for grip, and 2 x harder wheels in the middle for speed. Works pretty good. On Revision wheels at the minute.

The set up I am looking for is for playing on asphalt. 7 years ago I found a wheel that worked best for me and they were a Kryptonics hockey wheel. That wheel is 85a hardness. I found the wheel on close out and bought 20 of them. I quit playing for a while and now over the last several months I have depleted my supply of wheels, replacing only the rear wheel when they became unusable.

I weigh in at 230 lbs.

I never had an issue with inside sports court wheels the softer wheels may deform, but I guess they bounce back into shape.

I want a rear wheel that is made out of the same material that the real hard skateboard wheel is made out of.

Asphalt and 230 ... dude you will need steel wheels!

There was a wheel years ago called the "Breaker" I think. It was a metal loop with lots of hard small pastic discs around the hub. They were designed to be like stopping on ice, and indoor it did feel like skating on ice ... in a pair of inlines! But for outdoor they were pretty good IMO. I have tried a quick search and can't find anything ... maybe someone else on the board will help on this???

Rich may have an idea as they were advertised in RHM all those years ago and I think Tony Szabo put his name on them (may be wrong and as well as V-forms!!!)

All the current outdoor wheels seem to be 83/84A, so I assume no good for you. In which case, if that is all you have the choice of, I would just get the cheapest ones you can, like the missions or hyper 150's on InlineWarehouse.com or clearence stuff
