NCRHA Summer Tournaments?

After these past couple weeks after nationals, I realize one thing, there is no hockey for me to play for the next 5 months. Sure theres TORHS,AAU, and NARCH but NCRHA is complete over. What I wanted to know if the idea could be sparked by the league officials to hold summer regionals at each region? Not like nationals or anything. Just like a summer tournament, very similiar to "NHL Breakout" that was around a couple years ago. I know the league has a Winter Invitational, but why don't you have a summer invitational in regions as well, this way there are more teams that go making it cheapier and affordable. I am aware that there can be conflicts such as school is over, vacation, etc. Just putting the idea out there.

Anyone who might be interested in traveling to St. Louis for something like this, send me a message. Our entire team lives here in town, so we'd definitely be willing and able to host a tournament if there was enough interest. It would only take about three other teams.

We might be up for it. Not sure how much commitment we would get but I am definitely interested.

A lot of schools do not permit club activities while school is not in session, which is why I think it has not really happened too much in the past.

On a side note, I may be interested in trying to get ECRHA people together to go play in the Oakville Waterfront tournament again this summer. We did it a few years ago, and while the results weren't quite there, we had an awesome time in the GTA.

Block hours June 20th, 5:00pm - 12:00am, June 21st, 6:00am - 10:00pm, June 22nd, 6:00am - 7:00pm

Two 17 minute run time halves, roundrobin, ties stand.
USA Hockey membership required or Weekend Warrior needed
Four game round robin
Playoffs for top seeded teams based on 16 teams would result in top 8 teams qualifying for the cashout
Teams which do not qualify for playoffs may golf, take casino cruise or VIP at local gentlemen's clubs

Amenities offered
Shuttle bus provided by Myrtle Beach Express for Airport transportation roundtrip (grat. not included)

VIP and player party at Underdog's the official bar of the tournament Beer and shooter special

VIP and FREE ADMISSION pass (one per player) to the world famous Dollhouse

VIP admission to the World famous Crazy horse

VIP party and cocktails at club 2001, RSVP required with female escorts, June 20th 9:00pm - 4:00am dress required
