What players are leaving the ncrha d1?
What players are leaving the ncrha d1?
I read a post somewhere in a thread that said Middleton, from UC Irvine is graduating.
Jim Tamburino, from Stony Brook, put a post up that this was his last year.
Steve Inge - ROXBURY 8
Not that anyone much cares, but I'm graduating. My 5 years in the NCRHA are up, also.
Hi csdahlberg,
With apologies to John Donne...
For Whom the Buzzer Tolls
"No man is an arena entire of itself; every
man is a piece of the game, a part of the
industry. If a skate be thrown away by the manager,
Inline Hockey is the less, as well as if a team
were, as well as if a rink of thy friend's or
of thine own were: any player's departure diminishes
the NCRHA, because we are involved in the sport, and
therefore never send to know for whom the buzzer
tolls; it tolls for thee."
Sincerely,
Richard Graham

LU loses both our goaltenders and our assistant coach from the floor, erick cantrell. erick is being replaced by royalty, greg thompson is coming back home for 1 more year. add to that stephen campbell, jp beilsten, and phil maroon and we are even stronger. the goalies will be filled by jp susco and troy redman.
we had to respond to all the recruiting umsl was doing from our own team.
matt endom from homecare is going to lu next year as well..

Penn State is losing myself (Nick Godfrey) and Corey Calajoe next season. 220 points combined in the past 3 seasons (I'll talk myself up a little bit here). We'll return 8 players from the D1 team this year, 6 of whom played D1 last year. The team should be in pretty good shape next year, especially with at least 2 or 3 of the B players being capable of playing D1 this year.
umsl loses
james cash
tomy ames
doug purk
ben lambert
dangerous?? completely unfreaking-stopable. look at the names listed.Quote:

still gonna be a dangerous team
I pretty sure he is kidding. Doesnt change the fact that they will have another unstoppable team though.
If you're saying what I think you're saying, that's a bunch of crap.
You mean like mister true-blue LU "I got four rings" from the other thread trying to get into UMSL at semester break? That was unsolicited, by the way.
One of our top defensemen (you know him well) just got a call from Lindenwood last week. What's up with that?
We recruit HIGH SCHOOL players. We don't poach from other colleges. Especially ones whose credits don't all transfer.
Travis Grohoske and Dan Cece will be gone from OSU. Everyone else will still be around.

The skaters we have coming in are clear upgrades. I think the departing guys would admit as much. I don't think it's right to name names until those kids are admitted and enroll in school. That's the way most college sports are, so that's the way we're going to approach it. I'll just say that it looks like a clear majority of what most would consider to be the top ten HS seniors in St. Louis plan on coming to UMSL next year. We will be improved in both quality and depth.
As for goalies, there are many candidates. We're still sorting it out. Steve Cash did some pretty phenomenal things for our B team this year, including beating both halves of the Lindenwood B team once, and shutting out St. Charles despite only having six skaters in front of him. He is certainly a candidate.
