    Roller hockey in San Jose

As many of you know , San jose has been home to a large margin of roller hockey players and we have a pretty big community here. The commonly known rink in san jose would be Rollin Ice known for its high quality of play but there is also another rink that is running also and is a little cheaper.
Roosevelt Roller Hockey Rink is managed by the city of san jose , an outdoor rink and is running youth leagues mainly at the time due to not much adults registering enough for an adult league but the youth leagues are successful most of the time.
the bantam league and squirt leagues of Roosevelt are the main ones usually conisisinting of 4 teams in each age division and is to start April 26th.There are still some registration for all of you hockey players in san jose that want to try a different atmosphere and is great for players starting out.

    Cost: 68 bucks
equipment: rental with registration no extra cost
services: pickup daily , rink rental , leagues

More information Google [ Roosevelthockey ]

    Hi ddawgz,

Very cool. Thanks for alerting IHC's readers to another option in San Jose. Good luck in helping to grow the sport up in NorCal.

Re: Roller hockey in San Jose

Thanks for the info. My son attended a summer camp at Roosevelt a few years ago and had a great time.

While my kids play mostly at Rollin Ice in San Jose, there are many kids who play who started at Roosevelt. Many beginning players give roller hockey a try at Roosevelt, continue to play there, and then include a program like Rollin Ice.

There are many kids now on travel teams who say they first started at Roosevelt years ago. Without programs like these, many of these kids wouldn't be playing today!
