Thread: National Playoffs Question

    Exclamation National Playoffs Question

After round robin play (D1 and D2) you split the teams into 2 brackets with 2 #1 seeds and so on.

How are these seeding based because, there could be 5 teams with the same overall record...

    Is it Goals Against first?

There's a seeing meeting that is committee-selected following round-robin play.

    Re: National Playoffs Question

So during this meeting what does the committee take into account?

    Regular Season standing?
    Regionals standing?

    or

Just games played at Nationals during the RR?

Pretty much everything - the RR acts as a set of interregional games independent of the elimination bracket. Regular season comes into account as well.

    Re: National Playoffs Question

Question - Who plays the #1 Seed, the winner of: #7 Seed vs #10 Seed, or #8 Seed vs #9 Seed?

    Winner of 8v9.

    Standard tournament bracket, really.

    Re: National Playoffs Question

That's what I figured, but I didn't want to assume anything.

I've gotten so used to NARCh reseeding after every playoff round, and since this is my first year observing NCRHA, I just wanted to make sure.

    THANKS
