rental cars at nationals

I may be crazy, but I think I remember seeing something about getting the underage driver fees waived at one of the previous nationals events. If I'm not crazy, is there anything like that this year?

We are currently trying to make this happen. As of now, we do not have a deal where the rental car company waives the under-25 fee. If you can wait until Monday, we should have this sorted out. It will be posted on the travel page for the event and emailed to the team representatives.

I wish we had an update for you guys at this point. We, along with the Sports Corp (sports commision in CO Springs), have put calls out but have not had them returned. We are still trying to make this happen.

What I would do is make other rental car arrangements that are able to be cancelled. Then if we can make this happen for you guys, you can cancel the original reservation and use the better deal.

Rent a UHaul van. They're about 20 dollars per day, can seat about 10 people + bags in the back and you don't have to be any certain age (as far as I know) to rent them.

I found an Enterprise in Aurora, CO (about 12 miles away from the airport) that's notably cheaper than any at the airport and doesn't charge underage driver fees for ages 21-24. Here it is on google maps.

All you have to do now is get there. Check if they have a shuttle from the airport, otherwise you may have to send a couple players in a cab.

Ucf is lucky enough that our school has a state wide contract with Avis. This gives us set prices anywhere in the country and allows for underage drivers with no additional charge. We are actually getting mini vans at 48$/day plus tax which is much cheaper than i found anywhere!
