    Bauer Xg Lite goal skates?

Any reviews on these? I'm thinking about selling my Tour Redlines and buying a pair of these skates, but I haven't heard anything about these other than that the toe box is on the small/tight side (which is obviously not a plus).

    Any help is appreciated...

I have these skates, and personally I think they great. The protection is is perfect for inline hockey. I personally like the low ankle coverage just because i feel like i have a better range of motion in my ankle. To me the toe box doesn't seem to be on the slim side, but then again i don't have fat feet. These skates are also lower, so they provide a lower center of gravity then the Tours.

The only negatives i have about these skates is that you are limited to one size wheel, 47mm, and now that i think about it they come with those terrible blue hyper wheels that chunk-up after one use. I personally don't like the size restriction because lately i haven't been able to find any CrossBars in that size, and when I am able to finds them its not local.

P.S. Thanks Joe for the 411 on where to find the CrossBars.

The place where I've been buying my ice hockey equipment for years has a box FULL of the 47mm Crossbars. Just saw them the other day when I stopped in there. The guy said they're selling them for $8 or $9 per wheel which sounds pretty standard to me.

If you want, I can get you their contact info cause I don't see why they wouldn't ship to you if you need a set...

RollerhockeyMonkey.com has the RR crossbars for like 6.99, which is the cheapest i've seen them for, also they come in White, which you can only get at GM

the white ones are made for kids, that's why they are labeled as "lite". They don't do a very good job of explaining that.

I wear the older bauer Supreme 1000's and I love them. I use the crossbars, and I like the stickiness of them, but I go through them like CRAZY. i'm too heavy for them. I'm getting tired of shelling out dough to replace them. I wish I could use 59's on these skates, because I use to use the Patriot's and they held up better.

The White Lites have the same hardness as the regular crossbars, the only difference is the color.
