NIHL maybe??
I have to say this. I know there will always be crictics with anything that you try to do. I don't mind a crictic but when someone has to cuss you to get a point across that is something else. I guess by looking at some of the posts concerning the NIHL I have stepped on a few toes. Who cares.
If there was a legit professional league for roller hockey, I wouldn't have suggested a new league to start with. You boys don't have nothing. If you think that I am hell bent on ruining your precious sport you are sadly mistaken. I wasn't trying to ruin anything, I was going to start a legit league. Maybe you are not ready for a professional inline hockey league. As of now, I don't really see a need to spend thousands of dollars and a whole lot of time for a few jerks like some of your posts have indicated. If you are ready to step up into the bigs, let me know. If not, play your little game in your buddys skating rink.

Re: NIHL maybe??
don't back out now!! I think this league is a great idea piss on everyone who thinks its a bad idea I don't see anyone else trying anything to make this sport better. look at what everybody said about the late great WHA. everyone said it was going to be the biggest joke in hockey history, yet it discovered the greatest player to ever step on the ice, Mr. Wayne Gretzky.

Re: NIHL maybe??
Step off your soapbox and put your money where your mouth is. Visit any major inline hockey series' pro division and your eyes will be widened about 10 feet.
Here's a tip: If you can't take criticism, then you might want to reconsider your step into entrepreneurship. Get used to it. We've all seen pro leagues come and go; who's to say you're any different? You want to change people's minds, then ACT, don't TALK. And expect to be pounded into the ground with criticism until you make it so no one has anything to criticize you about anymore.
And please, please don't attack the current pro game. It might not be much in Arkansas and Missouri, but pro teams in SoCal, Canada, up north and even MidAtlantic region are some of the best in the world.

Re: NIHL maybe??
What???? How can anyone even criticize this guy when he didn't even give detailed plans? All he said was that he was going to start a league! There are way too many idiots that post on this board......

Re: NIHL maybe??
Uh, before you go calling me an IDIOT, how about you gain some knowledge of your own and figure out that it's precisely because he HASN'T posted ANY information in 2 months of hyping this league up, that everyone is skeptical.
If you have nothing to contribute, don't contribute at all. Thanks.

Re: NIHL maybe??
WOW!! everyone seems to be a little upset over this new league. I can understand both sides of the issue here. No one wants to see a league formed in a unplanned manner so it does not succeed and falls victim to the routine of inline leagues of past. That is understandable and I fully agree, A league should have a well thought out plan and be very detail oriented, especially if you want to consider your league a profesional one. However, I also feel we should not discourage any future individuals from forming a league, you never know which one will fly. I especially disagree with comments about good talent not available in certain areas of the US. I agree that in most part the exceptional players are already playing in the ECHL, CHL, or various inline Pro Tourneys etc. There are still many talented players floating around looking for a good competitive league to play in. Maybe we should'nt be so quick to label these new leagues as 'Pro", because right from the beginning you open yourself to the negative comments (right or wrong) I don't bash bonecrusher from trying to start a league, I hope he does well, it would definetly give a boost to the sport I love. Just give us more information when you have it and maybe we will look at this league in a different light. Let me just end this by saying I have really learned a lot from all of you at this site, I have played ice hockey for over 20 years and just turned over to inline. So far I love the sport and the people in it, Thanks
