    New MLRH website

Has anyone checked it out? Does anyone know when that changed? What does everyone think?

So the site looks infinitely better than the old one. But why launch the site at all with little to zero content?

    Re: New MLRH website

I'll bite. When did what change? All I saw was a very incomplete, unprofessional looking site, with two or three word document type news articles. If this league is to start in 4 months (April) they better get moving most ricky-tick. I hear no rattlings around the industry about MLRH on a grand scale entering the market. Be weary of promises of payment as a player or coach. Ask where this money comes from, remember the source of information based upon the reputation of the leagues past, and then ask yourself realistically, how a league with a website so incomplete this close to the start of their season will be the "evolution" of pro roller hockey. The whole thing smells of something a few disgruntled owners, players, and failed organizers tossed together to bring controversy. "sour grapes"?

If that is the representation of MLRH, then I would have to say nothing has changed/status quo/same ol, same ol.

Let it go gentlemen, let it go. Move on. You know what I mean.

It has been said, "Bring us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses"

God I love a good controversy!!!

Ya thats what i was thinking....the new site looks better but there is zero new content. I dont understand why they launched the site with absolutely no new information and coach clipboard brings up a good point. I didnt realize it but April is only like 3.5 months away and nobody in the inline world has heard or knows anything...seems kind of strange. Does anyone else have any more info on what MLRH is planning?

The best info that I can throw out there, from a descent source is that, they are being very careful on when they release ANYTHING. That's why nothing has been getting released. It's a matter of dotting their i's and crossing their t's. From what I was told, they are avoiding the old reputation of 'false promises' so, thats all I've got . . .and yes I know thats incredibly vague, but thats all I know.

seems kinda of like the mlrh is trying to make a league aimed at off season minor league ice players who want to make a little extra cash in the summer.

sounds like pro beach hockey....an excuse for AHL guys to get drunk in so. cal. in the summer time.....

I wish the MLRH good luck. I think its an extreme long shot but good luck anyways.

I do like the veiled anti-PIHA references in the article though.....about any non-checking league.

Its like the writer of the article aimed it at the 50 or so people that post on this board........

Old trick in the web business. Launching just a "splash" page is the Web 2.0 way to generate buzz and talk about what your intentions MIGHT be. Generally, the less info, the better. Actually it's one of the smartest things I've seen them do yet - see how everyone's throwing around possible scenarios here and they're now back in the discussion?

I do however agree that it may be a bit late to have something good in place for the summer. I have a feeling they may scale that back and hold off for another year.
