Looks like last night's games were a couple 1-goal wins for the Growl. How were the games and were either team missing key players?

We were both missing players. The tics were missing Steve Yingling and we were missing Gene Gsell, Ray Katinsky, Ken Meyer, Matt McKeon, and Mike Keating for the second game.
Great games, both were decided with goals in the last 30 seconds.
Fantastic games, both of them. This was PIHA top notch classic stuff. Both games defined roller hockey, and the Growl had the place packed. What a first class show they put on for game presentation too. The games were both also determined at the last moments and could have gone either way. Definitely did not look like pre-season form for either team.
The Lunatics were missing Steve Yingling and also Matt Matincheck.
yeah the games were definitely two to remember... felt more like a playoff atmosphere then a pre season one.

keep rubbing it in guys!

Have to give props to Manny Rayo for the unbelievable game saving save he made in the late minutes of game two. Kept the game a tie at the time, those who were there know what im talking about. What a save!!!
you guys are funny. kids come first...till the regular season starts.
I've always wondered about the different color sport court there behind the net. Notice it has a diffrent grip pattern too...
Great games by both teams. Let's give credit to Eddie Reyes and the Revolution for having additional PIHA teams in their home rink to help promote themselves and PIHA. A good show of cooperation.
Best of luck in 2008 to everyone in PIHA. Lets take thing to the next level.
