Here in El Paso, where we have just re-started kids inline hockey, we note that almost half of the new players are indeed young ladies. Half of the 3-5 days-per-week, rink rats are girls, and on the stat sheet on the bulletin board, numbers 2, 3, 4, & 5 in total points are girls...

We don't treat girls any differently, and we make sure they get every opportunity, support, and encouragement that the boys do.

Look for the Main Xtreet Polar Bears to hit the tournament scene in the coming year. We will start out most decidedly in the rec divisions of competitive play, and time will tell if we develop any national level talent or not.
