    Great Plains-Cross divisional play?

So on the main page of the Great Plains it says cross-divisional play is in the process of being arranged. Does anyone know whether this means between D1, D2, and D3 teams, or whether this means against teams from other regions? I would assume it would mean between D1, 2, and 3 since travel, etc would be difficult to arrange without discussing with the teams first.

I would assume playing games against other regions would be considered cross-regional play, rather than cross-divisional.

Sorry. It's been a long night.

They are trying to get it worked out.

DI vs. DII, DII vs. DIII, even B vs. DI/II/III.

The matchups will be fair and will make sense.

I'm looking forward to this. I've felt for a long time that in our region, it would be best for all teams to play each other. We can all learn by playing someone new. Cross Divisional play makes more sense to me than an unbalanced schedule within the division.

    See you all in November.

It's difficult to put the schedule together, and time-consuming, because of travel concerns (i.e. don't want to schedule a K-State or MTSU at 5:00 on a Sunday evening), "marquee games" (don't want to have the best matchup of the entire weekend occurring at 7 am), PIHA's "draft party" scheduled on a college weekend, etc. Tom Fussner is working on it.
