    Inline Hockey in Ontario...what gives?

    What's going on with the game in Ontario, Canada???

    I played a couple of years ago and there were a ton of great leagues. I wanted to play again this year and found that most had folded or were pretty lame and shrinking.

    How did this happen?

    When I follow the NIHA - Canada "nationals" schedule there are no teams east of Manitoba in it and darn few teams at all!

    Sad to see.

    We played in a tounament in Oakville a couple of weeks ago and there were a lot of teams present. Just came back from TORHS nationals and Ontario teams were there. We are from Buffalo (Buffalo In-line Hockey Group) and are looking to establish in-line travel leagues this winter with some Ontario teams. To me it looks like Ontario is healthy.
