    Worth mentioning.........

I've been meaning to post this for some time now and as luck would have it, my duties as a husband, a father, a rink owner, a PIHA divisional director, a team owner, and a player have finally allowed me to catch up on a few things.

I just want to publicly acknowledge the efforts of a few people who have gone above and beyond this season to help make the Professional Inline Hockey Association the premier inline hockey league in the United States (and beyond). Not in any particular order, they are Todd Wiley, Anthony Flynn, and Dave Garland. You may or may not agree with some of their views or even some of their actions, but I can honestly say that if the league had more people willing to put in the time and effort that these three gentleman do, we would all be that much better off.

Thank you to all three of you. Keep up the good work.

    Amen, amen, amen!!

I have never known anyone with the ambition and (pardon the expression) BALLS of Dave Garland. He takes lots of crap from the usual smack-talking suspects around here, but he just presses on, for the good of the sport, because he loves inline hockey.

He covers all the bases all the time, and just simply gets things done no matter what it takes. He defines "go-getter." In a sport of deep divisions, he brings people together as few others have been able to. Most are content in the same old closed circles. Not Dave. He's got it right.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I promise you haven't seen anything yet and I will work my butt off to make this the best sport possible. Not just in St. Louis but everywhere.

It is really nice to hear a little praise sometimes! Thank you once again!

I appreciate that my name was mentioned in that group. I'd also like to add Ruppy and Dave Gardner to that list who were completely instrumental in the addition of the Northeast Division this year.

While we are at it... Chris Havelock and CJ Gamble, while seemingly just players this year... Both these hard-working gentlemen have been busting there humps for months now in preparation of 2008 and new divisions in Northern California and the Carolinas. If these regions take off, we will have these two guys to thank.
