Alright enough of the politically correct...

Who wants to see who win this weekend. Predictions are all great and all but the truth is neither team has seen the other first hand. Do the east guys want the Rats to bring it home to show what our division is made of??? Do the Midwest and west guys want to prove they have the dominant divisions? Lets hear it!
I personnaly will be pulling for the Rats, love the team and the way the play from the MLRH days, and who can root against a 50 year old goalie that swears he's only 37?
Thank God Someone Was Nice Enough To Put Me On Their Team!

I just wish I could see the games live.

Since they're closer to my home and I've actually seen them play - The Rats

Does anyone know if there's going to be an internet stream of the audio from the game like they did with the eastern conference finals? video would be better but we'll take audio

I posted months ago that the Roller Rats were the best team in PIHA and I stand by it. No disrespect to any of the other teams or individual players but I will be shocked if they lose a game.

LMAO.....Yokes, good post. You had us laughing our butts off in the hotel room. Correction, everyone but me. I'm only 34, and I rescent you saying I'm 37. Get your numbers correct!!! LOL......

Thanks Brian for the props. We're doing our best to represent the east. Up two games, we're half the way there. I'll tell you something, these Sniper guys are pretty good. Very fast team.

Judging by the penalties it looks like the roller rats had a bit of a meltdown saturday night, I wonder what happened.

Darrell's been scratched all four games so far - was he unable to make the trip all together?

Looking at the box scores today and I was curious on how 4 on 4 hockey can be played when every second of every game is short handed? What type of hockey is that? All the penalty minutes are crazy! Either there are some dudes that just play hockey like thugs(head butt penalty?) WTF is that? or the refs have no clue about playoff hockey. And how do you get a 2 minute game misconduct, or even better 6 in 4 games? What a joke!

Yeah, the 2 min game misconduct penalties look odd, but looking at the scoresheet the out time on those penalties is "00:00" so it looks like they actually out for the game.

    The head butt's interesting...

Probably just an incorrectly entered time. I assume it's a Game Misconduct which is usually marked as 10:00 (but some leagues have it affect the penalty totals differently)

Oh, trust me, it happened, and it was just as ridiculous as it seems. And not because the refs are bad -- they are fine.

Personally, I've never seen a team conduct itself like that. Never. (And in the sport of roller hockey, that's saying a LOT.)

There was a faceoff in Game 4 last night with about 10 seconds left. The score was 7-3, the game was over. But when the puck was dropped, the Boston player made no attempt to play the puck -- instead, he slashed Robby Carroll in the face.

By the way, a few of us saw a guy that looked exactly like Gerrard Cioffi at a restaurant by the hotel the other night. He had two guys with him -- I assumed one of them was Interbartolo. Could have sworn it was Cioffi. (I was tempted to walk up to their table and ask for an autograph. )

For better or worse, the Roller Rats take gamesmanship to a whole new level. I fully expect Interbartolo and Cioffi to magically appear today.

Props to Zack Reis for scoring the back-to-back pair of goals that turned the series around.

    - The guy we saw at the restaurant Friday night wasn't Cioffi, he just looks exactly like him, right down to the facial hair. (That guy was in a group that tried to pick a fight with us Sunday night...long story. Trust me though, the dude looks just like Cioffi.)

    - Either way, I was right, Cioffi and Interbartolo did make an appearance Sunday. Their impact was huge, particularly Cioffi. He was everywhere.

    - Congratulations to Rodney Millette on winning the playoff MVP award. It took guts to stand up there with the microphone and give such a heartfelt speech at the banquet, too.

    - Even though there was no Thompson or Bruce, the Snipers weren't lacking a number-one defenseman. Chris Loness was the best defenseman on the floor this weekend, without question. He is BAD TO THE BONE.

    - After basically having his life constantly threatened all weekend long, Phil Maroon went out on the town with a bunch of the Boston guys Sunday night. I think that's hilarious. Honestly, he had nothing but good things to say about most of them when he got back to the hotel. Phil is a character, but he HAS character too. He could have done any number of stupid retaliatory things this weekend (like something other than just standing there while Squillacioti speared him three, four, five times before finally throwing the headbutt that got him tossed from the game), but he never swings his stick or throws punches or anything. He just laughs it off and plays hockey. The Snipers are a group of players I like a whole lot, and Phil is one of my favorites.

    - Had the series gone to the Snipers, Zack Reis probably would have been the MVP pick. He was awesome, as he has been throughout the playoffs.

    - Congratulations to the Midwest Tornados on winning the award for the organization of the year.
