Def congrats to the Rats. We (the Growl) felt that the strength of our division was amazing this year and we wish them the best of luck against the Snipers in Colorado.

I was tied up at TORHS on Sunday and didnt make it back in time, but the games Saturday night were terrific. Shame there had to be a loser, but not everyone can win. Great job by Todd and his boyz.

Anyone get a chance to hear the internet broadcast? I'm very curious what they thought of it.

I had caught part of it, You could tell the broadcasters had more history with the Tic's. Just knowing Players names off the cuff and that type of thing.
All in all not bad, but I really was just listening for the scores.

I listened in both saturday and sunday, it was great to be able to listen live up in new hampshire with the game so far away. I thought guy doing the play by play did a very good job overall and your commentary was appreciated on saturday I hope to hear more games next season on WMSS.

I saved the stream from sunday if anyone's interested I could encode it and put it up somewhere. Saturday's dropped out for some reason so I only got most of the first game.

I was able to catch Game 4 and I was very impressed. In the past, I have listened to a few other internet broadcasts and felt that the announcers were unfamiliar with the teams, players, and in some cases even the sport itself. This time I honestly felt like I was listening to a broadcast that would be suitable for even an AHL game or something equivalent.

To hear commercials for our generous and supportive sponsors throughout the broadcast was terrific. For the announcer to know the player's names and proper pronunciation of their names was fantastic. And on a selfish note, to hear the names of the guys who I was affiliated with via the PIHA this season and who I play house league with and against on a weekly basis being mentioned on the radio was really cool.

I strongly urge owners and GM's from around the league to pursue some sort of additional media coverage for your teams this offseason. I for one have this penciled in near the top of my summer "to do list". Just think what a boost it would be for the league if each team had a radio partner that would stream their home games on the internet. This would give the casual fan yet another avenue to increase their interest in the league and would give the rabid PIHA fan something to do almost every Saturday evening from December through May.

This would also give teams the opportunity to monitor their opponents success or lack thereof instead of waiting for the scoresheets to be posted on the website. In an unorthodox way, radio and/or internet broadcasts would even give the teams a unique opportuntity to partially scout their opponents. In addition, it would give teams another method of attracting additional sponsors and bringing in the always important related money generated by such a partnership.

Good luck to all of the remaining playoff contenders and I'm already looking forward to next year being another successful and competitive year in the PIHA.

Thx Ying for the congrats. You and the rest of the Lunatics should be commended for an awesome season. Also, the class and professionalism you guys displayed over the weekend was great. The Lunatics organization truley exemplifies why PIHA is a fun league to play in. Thanks also for taking me and Paul out Saturday night. We always have fun with you guys on and off the floor. Hope to see you this summer my man.

I think one of the highlights of the weekend was a certain Boston player enjoying his wine while the rest of the team had their cheese steaks and beer. Or as you boston guys called them a steak and cheese.

I join Steve Yingling, in congratulations to the Boston Roller Rats organization on making it to Colorado. Incredible games this past weekend. They played hard, won the battles and showed us that the Northeast is some very stiff competition. It was nice to finally meet some of the players and coaches from that division and get the chance to talk with them. Good sportsmanship and some very fun and classy guys made for a great weekend entirely!
