Congratulation Roller Rats
Darryl
Congratulations on beating us (Blaze) this past weekend and moving on. It was another hard fought 3 game series between us and you guys. For the last 4 years, we have had some tough games with you guys, it doesnt matter whether it is MLRH or PIHA, you guys seem to bring out the best (and the worst sometimes) in us and they always end up being great games. If anyone doubted if our teams could jump from MLRH (playing contact hockey) to PIHA (with no contact) and still be succesfull, we definitely proved something this weekend. Congratulations to you and your team and good luck in the next two rounds of the playoffs.

Re: Congratulation Roller Rats
Hey Juice,
Thanks for the support. It is amazing it seems every year no matter what league it comes down to playoffs between our two teams. I am sure there will be more to come in the years as well.
Thanks

Re: Congratulation Roller Rats
Hey Juice, thanks on wishing us luck in the next round. We're going to have our hands full with a great, classy Lunitics squad. Hopefully we can continue to represent the North East Division to Colorado.
As far as our two teams, your right we've always had great battles going way back to the original Conn. Blaze vs. Boston Stars in tournament play & nothing has changed over the years. Hopefully after this season both our teams can lose the MLRH tag & just be known as two of many great teams in this league. I think every team from first to last in the Northeast Division showed we can all play and compete in this league & no team can be taken lightly. All four teams from the Northeast could have easily won this division with one different bounce of the puck. This weekend was some of the greatest hockey I've ever played in. Our team was very fortunate to get through those two tough rounds. I'm still feeling the effects of those games two days later. How you feeling? What's wrong with you blocking that shot? Sick puppy you are. How's Johnny? Was he hurt serious? Well I'm off & thanks again, Darrell.

Re: Congratulation Roller Rats
D - They were great games and I am still banged up from it. I still can barely walk after that blocked shot. The worse part was looking up and seeing there was only 6 seconds left. Although I probably would have done it even with only 1 second left. I just know that I am getting too old to be playing games like that. I havent talked to JP since Sunday but i know he was pretty badly hurt. He got hurt on Saturday in Philly and his leg was wrapped up for our game. You wouldnt have been able to tell by the way he was skating though. I think when he got hit at the end of our game it just aggravated it more. Again, good luck

Re: Congratulation Roller Rats
Juice, you're one crazy man. Laying down and blocking one of D's slapshots is nuts. I don't like facing it and I'm wearing equipment. Seriously though, those were some great games. Nothing gets me more pumped up than playing the boys from Conn.. You guys should be very proud of the season you just played. A couple lucky bounces our way kept us alive. I think you guys hit the post three times in the final game including one that hit all three post in one shot. It always seems to come down to the wire when we play each other. Again, congrats on an awesome season. Between the Blaze, the Bombers and us, we are proving that inline hockey in the Northeast is still a force to reckon with. I hope to see you in the summer tournaments series.
Roger
