Favorites going into the Brackets!
Round Robin Play at the NCRHA National Championships 2007 is complete. The favorites going into the single elimination brackets are as follows:
Division I
Lindenwood (3-0-0), Eastern Michigan (3-0-0), . followed closely by Michigan State (2-0-1), Rochester IT (2-0-1) and Ohio State (3-0-0). Rhode Island also finished without a loss in round robin, going 2-0-1.
Division II
Missouri St. Louis, Neumann and SUNY Stony Brook, followed closely by Long Beach State (2-0-1), Nevada (2-1), Emory (2-0-1) and UC San Diego (2-0-1).
Division III has one more round robin game left to play, at 2:15pm Friday afternoon, between Nassau and St. Charles CC. Currently Broward looks like the team to beat, goig 2-0-1 in round robin. Suffolk is close behind, going 2-1-0 in round robin, losing only to Broward by a score of 6-5.
B Division
Lindenwood B (3-0-0), Suffolk B (3-0-0), Meramec B (2-0-1), Michigan State B (2-1-0), and St. Charles B (2-1-0) are the front runners in the B Division heading into the single elimination brackets. Michigan State B's only loss came to Lindenwood B, and St. Charles B's only loss came at the hands of Suffolk B.
The single elimination brackets have begun, for all divisions except Division III. Stay tuned at www.ncrha.org/championships all day Friday and Saturday morning. The tournament will conclude on Saturday as follows:
8:00am - B Division Semifinals
9:00am - Division III Semifinals
10:00am - Division II Championship Game
11:15am - Division I Championship Game
12:30pm - Division III Championship Game
12:30pm - B Division Championship Game

i just wanted to summarize how the field looked at the end of round robin...
