Thread: 99's birthday

    99's birthday

On this day, back in the year 1961, Walter and Phyllis Gretzky produced the greatest hockey player ever lived. I think this day should be viewed as a national holiday by every rink across the land. I'll be having cake at my place at 8pm to honor him...lol Ying & Troho, let me know if you're stopping by, I have to give the bakery at least a few hours notice...haha

NO,no,no, Troho !!! read it without the chocolate mud cake in front of the screen. I said the greatest hockey player ever (Wayne Gretzky), not the second greatest (Jimmy V.)...lol lol lol

yeah tro, he said the greatest hockey player, not the one that chases down a ref to tell him that one was 99 from 99 and 99. i'm sure the great one never did that.

The reason we all hear him barking at the ref's is cause they skate faster than him too. He cant get close enough to be discrete, either that or his hearing aid shorts out form the sweat during the games.

make sure Flynn hears that - he still thinks he's faster than me.....I might have more hair but I can still beat Flynn in a race

Was that goal really from 99?? or is he stealing Bill's points again

Here we go again !!! I'm sure any of my teammates will tell you that I am just as quick in helping the ref (if they need any), get in right, even when I'm not involved in the play. I just hate when they leave someone out who deserves an assist. By the way, for the record, I've NEVER taken a phantom assist. You need to speak to a few others, who will remain nameless, who might not be able to make this same claim. I think even my sarcastic buddy & sometimes linemate, Billy K. will attest to my innocence in this matter. You bastard, Ying...lol

Troho, you've got some nerve making fun of my supposed lack of speed. One day, I'm going to schedule a race, with me, you, Ying, Stio and Flynner. I'm a lock to win, as long as I can navigate through the hair on Stio's back, not get blinded from the glare coming off Flynn's head and make sure you and Ying eat before the race, so you guys don't take a bite out of me as I go by...haha

hahaha i honestly think ying would take that race out of all you speed demons... i'd include myself in that footrace, but my mantle has no more room for awards since winning the High Scorer award at narch a few weeks back, so i'll let you dinosaurs battle it out...

and for the record... jimmy never takes phantom assists, he only makes sure that the refs got it right...

(this statement was just recorded in a phone call from Jimmy V. himself, so like his stories, it must be true...LOL)

Stio is automatically eliminated for being that damn ugly.

Flynn would be too worried about scheduling Bianncas next Growl apperance.

Vivonnas walker is a distinct advantage.

Ying wins hands down as I am laughing too hard at the sight of Stio with his shirt off. Kind of looks like one of those bear rugs you see in ski resort houses. Besides the fact that I am easily the slowest of the group.

Let's be honest, I've got that race in the bag... I might even lap Tro. The only person who has a chance would be Jimmy and that is if we started and ended in front of the score box.
