Thread: Skinny Ankle Skates?

  1. #1

    Question Skinny Ankle Skates?

I'm new to the sport and am slowly discovering that all the gear that I purchased a year ago (when I first started) is too big, .

I've currently got a pair of the Nike Quest Shadows '05 in a 6.5D.

I tried on the Mission 7500 '06 and found that they fit great in the toe, but are much wider in the heel. Same for the Tour Formula 9.

Does anybody have recommendations for a skate that will fit a skinny ankle?

    Thanks!

Check out the CCm's...mabey it was the Vectors? im not sure which one but my sister plays Hockey and she says that with her narrow heal that that was one of the only ones she tried on that"locked" her heal in right.

Thanks for the comment Bennett! I will be sure to try and check them out. I guess I should be thankful that HockeyMonkey.com still carries the 2005 Nike skates, lol.
