question about new wheels

i have a pair of old school mission proto vi hi lo skates. i think they are the best fitting skate made. i just upgraded my wheels to some Labeda Millenium Grippers (soft/orange) from the original Kuzak wheels. i had a game the other night with the new wheels and i couldnt skate! the wheels were actually too sticky. i couldnt pivot, turn or stop how i like to. I was wondering if it would be any better for me to replace a combination of wheels (front 2, back 2, middle 2, first and last) with my older wheels so i can play how i like to play. what do you all think?
