Looking to Buy New Skates (need reccomendations)

Hey - I'm new to this forum and here is my first post =P

Anyhow, I'm looking into getting some new inline hockey skates as I've had the same ones for AGES now. I'm 17 and would probably use senior skates... price range is around 200-250 dollars. Any reccomendations? Thanks!

buy closeout ice skates or mid-level ice skates and find a good chassis to put on them...

some suggestions for ice boots would be:

    ccm - vector pro, 7.0, 6.0, new v6.0, 7.5 smu, 6.5 smu
    rbk - 7k,
bauer - vapor xiv, sfl thg,
    mission - s500, s400, fuel 85
    nike - supreme 50, quest v-10
easton - ultra-lite pro, synergy 700, synthesis smu

all of those skates can be found on either hockeymoney.com, hockeygiant.com or hockey.com for less than 200 dollars, some for a good bit less... ice boots in general are built better and will last longer... of the ones above, i would definitely recommend the ccm vectors... if you wear the right size, there are vector pros on hockey.com for 120, or about 300 less than original retail... sick deal... even if you dont, the smu's on hockeymonkey are a great deal for the money...

If you can still find them on the internet I would go for like a pair of Tour blue Max skates from last year.

What size skates are you looking for as well as what brands do you like or have used in the past and had success with?

I'm looking for around size 9 senior skates. The ones I have now are the original Nike Quests (old I know) and I've used mission skates before, but didn't much like them. I wouldn't say I've had success with the Quests, so I'd like to stay away from Nike as much as possible.

    How are the RBK skates?
