Tough division to rank the teams with so much talent.

thompson is the best LU player there is hands down... BUT the whalers are the team to beat down there... they have the best goalie- viamontes and the two best players costanze and JP

How do you figure he's the best on LU, I dont even think hes the second best and I see them play every weekend and have seen them for the past couple years, he might be the biggest name but there's no need to argue hes amazing as well as Marchand and Colemen is LU's #1 goalie Vio is #2.

you do have the advantage of seeing them play every weekend... i just know from playing against them at Winternationals and summer nationals... I think marchand is amazing as well... maybe Vio just has my number when we have played against him in the past at national tournaments

Thompson and Marchand are the two best players LU has, I would give the edge to Thompson. But I dont think it really matters because the look like the best team from the Gateway.

I think just as shown on here any one of the teams can win. I like the Snipers and the Whalers. But I am not going to count out any thing that Perry can pull out of a group of players. I am not going to be biased in anyway there.

The Pythons with Marchand, Hill, and Coleman will be strong too. When you add in a Derek Tunison and Kyle Gouge and "old skool" Tim Henderson, sheesh!!

EVERY team can and will be up to bite some one. Every team is strong.

I look at the Whalers with JP, Costanza Kahre and the Daleos.... then a guy many of you STL people dont know Pete Messina is a bull and has some GREAT hands. Goaltending will not be weak at all with Vio and Dippenbrock. Where is a weakness?

You look at Snipers....Thompson, Matteo, Bruce and Garland and Dustin Brown in net? Several other who can and will be phenomenal players. Ok weakness? ummmm??

Then you look at Tornadoes... Fudge. and Hewks, add Brandon Barnette Moser Lil Ian and Oleary?..... you amy not know much of Menzel out of STL.... he is a absolute wonderful net minder. Then you got Cash too!


I think that on any given night any of these teams can beat each other and to go further, any of these teams can beat any of the teams out there.

I agree with you benchman, I just think the Whalers and Snipers will be more consistent than the others, just based on the rosters. But then again talent doesnt always win you championships, Proof are NY Yankees.
