According the pittsburgh bandits website they have now picked up Mike Ciolli. Those of you who know him, how big is this for the bandits? He has to be one of the top defensemen in the country.

yeah he's pretty nasty.. i dont know how they were able to do that put they are going to make themselves the competition for the lunatics in that division this season... the league is bulking up talent wise pretty nicely... once cali gets involved and florida too there will be no stopping PIHA

I think its a big pickup, but I still think the Lunatics are the odds on favorite to win that division. Pittsburgh has definitely improved their roster from last year, I only saw a couple of players from last years roster that I recognize on their roster for this year.
pittsburgh better pick up 4 more like him if they want to stop that nasty offense in Harrisburg.....Don't let them get a man up on you! They do have some finishers in that locker room.
Harrisburg is a great team for sure... but when we have our full roster, which probably won't be every single game, we'll be able to play with any team in the league...
I know I may seem like a bit too much of a team player, but I think that the Pro team here in Pottstown (Express) will do pretty good this year. I was looking at the standings from previous seasons on the website and it looks like the Nasty Boyz did pretty well. I don't remember the full roster for the Nasty Boyz but I do know a bunch of those guys are playing for the Express which might make them a pretty tough team this season. I know the Tic's have a lot of talent and they will in the end probably win this division running away with it, but I don't think the Express should be counted out already.
Go Express!!
Look back in my posts from earlier this season, I predicted the eXpress to finish 2nd or 3rd in the division. Who is the goalie for you guys? Neil Bhatla?
i think the lunatics will run away with that divison... possibly going undefeated if they can get their whole team at all the games... pitts should finish 2nd and express 3rd is a pretty good call.

I agree with that. I think the most interesting topic is who the 4th playoff team will be from that division. I'm going out on a limb and picking Richmond. They are young, have good goaltending, and i believe Richard and crew want to win badly enough down there to pull it off.
perhaps the inferno could slip into that 4th spot as well... if they could get their whole team to travel they would be a better contender, what you think?

Yeah I think Harrisburg will be the runaway winner of that division and probably will finish undefeated. With Pittsburgh(since adding Plaugher and Ciolli) will finish second, the Inferno third, and Richmond fourth.
Man we don't get no respect... I think the Lunatics have an amazing roster this year, but even the Growl didn't go undefeated last season, and their roster last season was definately better than the Lunatics this year. I highly doubt they go undefeated... They could easily go down to Pittsburgh, Pottstown, the Inferno at Scottdale, the Robins at Richmond, and maybe even some of the other teams on the road... Any time a team doesn't bring all of their guns, they're at risk of being knocked off...
that's why i said if they bring their whole team they could go undefeated, if the growl had everyone at every game last season then yes i think we could have went undefeated, except for the loss in the finals, it is possible with their team this year in that Div
