    Update the website

I was just thinking that it may appear more professional if we could keep the ecrha website updated with stats and articles more than just once a month...I was looking at it and the last thing posted was from NJ. We've since played a tourny in pittsburgh and it's almost time for another in feasterville but there's still no change - not even game stats...just who won and who lost. Any thoughts?

Stats will be caught up by the end of this week - they were delayed for a number of reasons, among them being late roster submissions and the fact that we've been bogged down reworking our season schedule over a dozen times thanks to the select few teams that don't make it a point to regularly check areas of the website they're supposed to check. They'll be more up-to-date from now on.

That said, right now there are about four people actually doing administrative work for the league - all of us in just about every spare minute we have that we're not at our 'real' jobs - so we could use more help. We all have our hands full right now with just keeping things running, and unfortunately news articles and stat updates are NOT essential to keep the league functioning, so they've taken a back seat to scheduling and other more 'important' things.

Stats and score updates are done as quickly as possible. Bill Bourqure of Shippensburg has been doing most of the stat entry and has done a reasonably good job of that. They will be done even quicker when we get more people helping out. We are also always looking for TKs. By the way, you can get paid to both TK and enter stats (minimal for stat entry but something). Anyone care to help?

Other things I would like to see us do:

    - have teams write team updates. I think you should be doing these anyway and sending them to your school newspapers. Every Sunday night, on the way back from the event, have someone on your team write a short article about your games. They can uploaded to the site and people who visit your team's page (players, opposing players, fans, girlfriends, etc.) can get an idea of what happened in the game.

    - Have the league update the staff information page. I'd like to see pictures of all staff (Board, refs, general staff) members along with a very short bio (in Burke's case, his roller hockey history would be pretty extensive).

    - Get press releases out to local newspapers, radio stations and televsion stations. Schools can also contact their newspaper, radio, tv station if applicable.

    Im Sorry...

    I pretty much suck.

I attempt to do stats ASAP, but sometimes a Economics Mid-Term, A Calc Mid-Term and a History Mid-Term put a damper on things.

Oh and practice 2-3 times a week, plus 3 games a weekend.

    I will try harder.

On a more serious note. All stats from Rahway are in as of last night. All Stats from Pittsburgh and Harrisburg should be in before i leave for Long Island on Sat Night. And if things work out, all LI stats should be in before i head back to Shippensburg on Sunday Night

I did most of the scoresheets this past Saturday in Lemoyne and I can understand how the stats aren't easy to do. It was rare to have a roster sheet with only one or two names crossed off. Instead I got scratches and scribbles, mismatching numbers with players names who I could barely read. Kids wearing the same number jerseys on the same team........And this is all assuming that the refs even get the right numbers for the points. Some teams split jerseys with their B teams so every game is basically a roster from scratch. If all the teams were organized the stats would go up much easier!

I'm pretty sure I had all the Temple B stickers correct

Either fully correct or fully wrong. Either way they were fully something.
