    PIHA Schedule

When will the 2006-2007 PIHA season schedule be available for viewing? I saw on the Growl website that theirs has been completed. March? We don't play the Growl until March? Talk about adding drama. That season ending series could decide first place. So I'm an optimist, nothing wrong with that. LOL.....

I'd like to say we scheduled it that way for dramatic effect, but in reality we had a different perspective. Having to plan two long road trips we decided to try to take the Winter weather possibility as out of play as possible. I will do my best to get the other schedules up as soon as possible.

Thanks Anthony. It should be exciting leading up to that weekend. Good luck this season to you and the Growl team, as well as the rest of the teams playing this season. 5 weeks, I can't wait.

I think canada will come down and expect to crush all usa teams. There are alot of new teams and good ones.. But since I skated with rink rats when they where with the storm in the MLRH, I will have to say they will win the east. Thats if they have a full roster all year....I think there goalie will be the best in the league I was there when he took 65 shots on net, only allowing 10 goals.

We played a team from canada last season at the finals. I believe it was an all-star team put together to come down and play us. We split a pair of games with them, but not to overshadow their accomplishment. Our team did not take it very serious as they were hung over from a night of celebration after winning the PIHA championship the day before. After losing the first game we convincingly beat the canadiens by double digits after the sobering loss inthe first game. They will be good competetion!

Just say you think you gonna destroy the Canucks.... the league needs a spark man... it looks like a bowling league sometimes. Ramp it Up!

why aren't there other games against the other divisions? we don't play the typhoon, lunatics etc at all? i thought we'd at least get to see those teams once during the year...

oh well the northeast is going to be quite a dog fight, the new 20 game minimum is going to add to the excitement as well, most of the teams will be there in full now for most of the games... i know i'm goign to be busy as anything running from the college ice games to the growl games in one day... saweet!
