multi-sport?
totally hypothetical pole, gang...
If you could play one other sport, indoors, at your roller rink, for free, as an add-on benefit, what would that sport be?
I am interested in alternate sports hobbies of inline hockey players...
Thanks for responding...

Re: multi-sport?
never heard of indoor baseball... what about arena football?
-
Re: multi-sport?
play baseball on the rink, play the actual baseball rules, just use plastic bats and balls...I once played a 100-hour game for charity, a lot of fun...just like we did when we were kids...
Actually tried arena foorball on sportcourt...problem is tackling doesn't really work, then you need a ton of equipment, even more than hockey...and flag degenerated into players actually being tackled out-of-bounds...didn't work real well...
what else, gang?

Re: multi-sport?
kidding arouond somewhat here, but;
In keeping with Rich's policy of respecting trademarks, "Whiffle Ball" is a registred trademark of Wham-o Corp, and refers to their line of somewhat slim plastic bats, and the polypropeline ball with slots or holes on one half of the sphere...
Yeah, my crowd used the name generically when talking about the neighborhood, sandlot game, and that's what this is...an everybody plays, has fun, and gets to use all their skills in a non-peformance-demand setting.
Lots of fun, eh?
