Adult Teams in NJ Area

Skater's Choice, located in Sewell NJ, is looking for a few more teams to participate in the Tuesday night "B" league. The league fee is $1350 a team(usually about $150 a guy for 8 guys and a goalie). It includes a 10 game season and playoffs. All players must have USA hockey insurance. Teams will also be asked to pay $20 a week for refs. Anyone interested in playing, please call Skater's Choice at 856-582-1600 or email us at [email protected].

i live in the area if the league was a lil cheaper i would get a team but because the league cost so much i travel all the way to feasterville to play. i think roller hockey should be like 900 a team cause most roller hockey teams only like to use 8 skaters and a goalie

our inline team fees do not exist. we are charged per player, no matter how many players you have on a team. $125.00 a session, goalies pay half that. the only team fees i pay for are the tournaments. PIHA as well we all pay $325.00 (i think) but again these fees are all individual not team fees.

Shane99, if rinks only charged that much, most of us if not all of us would be out of business. There is alot of cost that goes into running a rink, and each rink has different cost. I think $1350 is a great price for teams. At my rink we charge $2000. It may seem high but compared to my monthly bills, we are making enough to pay the bills.

well i just think if u lower the price more teams will play ...i know alot of people that use to play roller that dont any more cause of the price they would rather pay the same money maybe a lil more to play ice and get more out of it longer seasons and longer games.

Shane99, So, 1350 - 900 = 450 difference, split by 8 guys would be you are saving 56 bucks each going to Feasterville.

Throw in crossing the bridge at 3 bucks a pop and 2.50 a gallon gas, dude, its costing you more money than you think.

well i work in philly so it really dont affect me as far as gas and tolls but all i am saying is if the price was even a lil lower i believe more teams would play
