TORHS 2002 Corona Regional

TORHS America will hold the 2002 Corona Regional, at Inline Sports Center, in Corona, California, on November 9th - 11th, 2001. All Ages: Tyke (6U), Atom (8U), Mite (10U), Squirt (12U), Peewee (14U), Bantam (16U), Junior (19U), Adult, PRO, Women. This will qualify teams for the 2002 Nationals, held in July, 2002. 1st and 2nd place team and individual awards. MVP/MVG/MVD awards. Big Shot Award, Raffle, and much more. TORHS will also be selecting the All TORHS Team at this event. TORHS will also feature the kick off of the New TORHS Pro SERIES. TORHS America is proud to announce the introduction of the new ?TORHS Pro SERIES? beginning the 2002 season. Players over 18 can compete for prize money in excess of over $50,000.

The format is as follows:
TORHS will hold eight (8) qualifying tournaments to be held at selected TORHS America Regionals around the country, locations in Corona, California ? Long Island, New York (2 qualifiers) ? Las Vegas, Nevada ? Portland, Oregon ? Detroit, Michigan (2 qualifiers) ? St. Louis, Missouri ? Estero, Florida. Locations are subject to change.

The series will kickoff at the TORHS America Regional in Corona, California on November 9 ? 11, 2001. The Pro SERIES will also be held at the TORHS Winter Cup Finals in Long Island, New York at Skate Safe on January 3 ? 6, 2002. The top 2 teams at each venue will compete for $4,000. The top 2 teams also will qualify for the opportunity to compete in the ?TORHS Pro SERIES? Championships, for $20,000 in prize money, at the TORHS America National Championships held July, 2002. Only the qualifying teams will compete for the ?TORHS Pro SERIES? Championships at the Nationals.

What are you guys going to do when a team wins $ but then wants to play Div i or II at Finals..do you make them give the $ back?

If you qualify for the Pro Series Championships the team must then play in the Pro Series at the Nationals for $20,000.
There will be no Division I in the Adult. It is either Pro Series or Adult.
