    COOL Story

    Hey Folks,

Check this out. Steve MacSwain once played for the Los Angeles Blades in Roller Hockey International, and he's one of the coolest guys I met when I covered pro inline hockey for Roller Hockey Magazine and InLine Hockey News:

    Re: COOL Story

    Rich,

Cool story, but everytime they say inline is slower than ice I want to puke. Maybe if they are watching house level or are not talented players; but Tour Mudcats, Rinnk Rats Pro, Homecare America Pro, those teams/players are by no means slow, nor do they play a slow game.

Last year I watch 30-40 AAA level games in Michigan, both Girls 14u, 16u, 19u and Boys 93's, 94's. The teams that won had the most inline players on their rosters and played a 2-1-2 moving triangle to possess the puck. That is inline, not an ice hockey method of play. No dump and chase there.

    Re: COOL Story

That story is SO true from my own experiences. Taking a year off of ice and playing only inline hockey at the park, then returning to the ice felt so weird. For a good two hours I felt like I could barely skate then it clicked.
