    Cairns vs. Brashear... last night

Did anyone catch the fight last night during the Pens/ Flyers game on OLN? A good fight between two great heavyweights... I have to say that those fights are sure entertaining and in my opinion, good for the game. Things started to get a little chippy, then the coaches sent out the big boys to finish the dispute. After the fight (*which I think Cairns won) the chippyness was over and a good game continued.... It got the fans going and was fun to see on tv. I just hope the NHL doesnt ever get rid of the fighting... although I don't think it should happen every game, it's an important part of the sport..

Sometimes a way for players to get control of a game or get momentum(sp) is a fight. I noticed it does not happen as much but when it does it is usually to make some kind of point. I do not see the NHL getting rid of fighting because it does help draw fans. THe only way I see them getting rid of it is if it gets out of control.

brashear does well in fights until is legs fall out beneath him because of his poor balance. here's to hoping he is traded!!!

Not often do you see a goon with such great hands. I think the flyers would miss his toughness if they traded him.
