    Good Show

It was a fun weekend of hockey and laughs at All-Star weekend. The West game out firing, and scored some really pretty goals. If it wasn't for the stellar goaltending of Jason Rohrbach of the Typhoon, the 5-3 loss could've been 11-3. It ended up that the West took 3 out of 4 games, with the East winning the finale,7-6 in overtime, led by Sean Sullivans tying goal with 1:11 left in regulation, and then the overtime winner. Brian Yingling was The MVP, with 14 points (7g 7a), and TJ Plaugher was the best shooter for the East, scoring many goals, with his slapshot from the point.

    Re: Good Show

I agree with ya Flynn, great show from both sides. Some very entertaining goals. The shootout at halftime with all the players was a good touch and a riot to watch. I think its a great way for players to get together and forget about whos on what team for just a weekend and enjoy the friendship of hockey. Proves that whether you are from Virginia, Pa, NY, or Colorado, or wherever, everyone shares a common bond and players are players. Its great for the players and teams that werent in attendance as well, because everyone gets a mid season breather. It was nice to see some PIHA players who werent on the all star teams in attendance as well. The beef n beer night at Champs was a fantastic time, but one simple question...Where was the beef?????

Todd, if you ever make the mistake of calling me Anthony Flynn again, I'll shoot a puck at you on the bench. I almost threw up at the thought of looking like that, when I saw your post. No offense, Flynner....lol

Jimmy, I got the GROWL names all mixed up,and I can fully understand your disgust. I will place a red X on my forehead and lean out over the bench for you next game!
