half way point
I very much look forward to playing the Lunatics this upcoming weekend. The matchup of the speedy Jay Mazer and John Pinehro is great to watch, even while on the rink with them. The Lunatics have a strong defense, and always keep the games as low scoring as possible. I have not seen the Typhoon play this year, yet I must give credit to my fellow slow-poke Steve Yingling for scoring goals by the bunch, not one of them from more than 15 feet, I'm sure. Even with losing yet another great player in Brian Yingling, the Typhoon have managed to have a great first half, as usual. I think the Inferno team, on their home rink is going to give somebody a problem in the playoffs, if they get in. I was very impressed in the adjustments their coaching staff made in preparation of this past weekends games with our Growl team. They played a very patient game, and it caused us some anxious moments. I think the second half of the season will be even better than the first, as every organization will use what they've learned to better themselves. It should be fun for the players and fans alike.
