    PIHA Stats

I am just curious of why PIHA doesn't keep track of save percentage for goaltenders? from what I have heard every rink keeps track of shots so I think that save percentage could be a catagory. Anyone know why it isn't at the moment? or if it ever will be in the future?

    Re: PIHA Stats

here is the brutal truth. The piha website was created by a player who no longer plays or lives in the area. He continues to host the site, but his involvement with the site or the league is very limited. PIHA continues to explore new options for the site for 2007, but for now we are limited to the site we have and are doing the best with the parameters in which we can work.

Despite the situation, I think anyone involved with the site has done real good job this year.

For sure! It is 10x better then the un updated site of MLRH and that site I don't think even carries the stats anymore. Great job with the site PIHA keep it up.

Is the guy willing to sell the domain to PIHA? Im pretty sure there are plenty of people in PIHA that can do the website.

I know they are asking over 1000.00 for the name, which is ridiculous so it's out of the range of possibilities.

    Goaltender Statistics

Hopefully I can hit everyone with a wide brush here. I have been receiving numerous emails and phone calls in regards to the goaltender statistics on the PIHA site.

There is a glitch in the PIHA site which is creating several problems in the reporting of accurate statistics. Some errors are being made by those entering statistics, but most are errors that are being created by the site itself. Either way they can not be fixed.

I am just the administrator, not the site developer. I do not have the proper access to made the adjustments necessary to fix these problems. I am aware of the following problems:

    Shutouts are not being counted
Some games arnt showing in statistics at all
Some goalies have been credited with games they have or havent played

Whether these problems are from improper entering or from the site, they can not be fixed at this time. The league is aware of the situation and we are keeping an off site log of proper statistics so that proper all-stars are picked and post season league awards can be chosen.

Rest assured that the league is looking into fixing or having a new site developed after the current season is completed.

Please don't stop emailing me with problems, just know that until the site developer reappears we can not fix these problems. If anyone knows how to contact him or can kidnap his puppy let me know.

Oops... Jason Rohrbach also had one at the beginning of the season as well. Sorry Jas.

Flynner, I think the Typhoon vs'Tics scores made it up... Can't remember off the top of my head the 4 Typhoon vs Robins games. Yings/Matincheck, trying to help out here?
