    tour skates

    can someone tell me the differnce between the code 1 skates and the code e2? i am not sure which ones to get and i see that the e2's are 100 bucks cheaper.

    I tried the Code 1's on but bought the E2's. There is really not much of a difference, the Code 1's are a bit lighter, but I think the E2's are stiffer. Other than that, they have the same chassis, wheels and bearings. I love my E2's. Go with those!

    does it take long to break them in? thats the worst part about buying new skates.

    I have never really had a big problem breaking skates in but I guess it depends on the user. They are pretty stiff so I would definitely not use them in a game/tourney the first time you wear them like I did.

    With the 2 pairs of Tour skates that I have had the breaking in was not bad. I wore them for games and I did not get any blisters or sore feet. I wear thin socks so that may have made it easier to break in.
