    New Team

    My name is Jeff meilander and myself and a few others have just started an inline program in Cottonwood, AZ. We have 2 teams a 12-14 and a 15-17. We are not very good as most kids have never played before. Right now my two teams are scrimmaging each other on Fridays but I want them to play some other teams. Does anyone have any suggestions about some good beginner tournaments and just general advice for a young program? Thnaks a lot.

    You may want to contact the rinks in Phoenix and see if you can get some games with the teams they have there before you enter a tournment. Playing games is a good way to get your kids ready for a tournment. You may also want to ask the coaches there if they can help you out with drills and ideas for your program. You may also want to check the list of rinks to see if there is another place closer then in Phoenix. It is on the main page and on the bottom. I hope this helps.
