    Blisters

Does anyone have any solutions to covering up and protecting a blister. I skate on Wicked Lights and for some reason, for the first time, i got a nasty blister on my right arch. It hasn't torn yet, so i drained the fluid, but i've got a game tonight and am wondering the best way people have found to protect against making it worse.

Blisters suck! What I do is an old hiking trick. I get "mole skin" from the Dr. Scholl's or foot care section of your market or Target store. Cut a piece roughly 2 to 3 times bigger than the blister and stick it on with the blister in the middle of the patch. It will still hurt but will keep the blister from getting bigger or deeper. I had the same problem breaking in some mission proto vs's two months ago. Mine was on my heel and i used the mole skin the next 4 or 5 times skating. Be carefuf peeling off the mole skin, it sticks very well and will rip the layer of skin off when you peel it. Good luck. Semper Hockey.

I got a better solution, blisters are caused due to friction on the skin. What better way to break the friction than to gob on some vaseline or patroleum jelly. The stuff really works. After I smear a gob on the blister spots, I put on a pair of thick socks. This trick has done me well, and I highly recommend it!
