Help w/ new league!

Hi,
We are starting a new league in Victor NY near Rochester We just set up a web site and we have no pictures. We are looking for some pictures or roller hockey action. If you have some and would like to donate them we would greatly appreciate it. Please e-mail them to [email protected] We will post your name or photo by... with it as well. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Any advice on starting a new league would be helpful as well such as league software, etc.

Good luck with the league. I went to SUNY Brockport a few years back and it would have been great to have a real local rink around. Where are you playing and what kind of rink do you have?

Hey Ron,
We are playing at Dreyer Rd. Park in Victor near exit 45 off the I-90. The Parks & Rec department set up this rink this past summer. It is a really nice outdoor rink. It has Mateflex flooring. go here: http://mateflex.com/inline.html
The third picture over on the top right is our Victor rink. They recently netted it above the boards. It will be used for Roller and Box Lacrosse. As I am sure you know no one has done it right here in Rochester for roller hockey. This is our chance. We are planning instructional and league play. Are you in the area still?

Looks like a big rink. Should be good 6 months of the year. Get a roof on that thing!!! Sorry, now I live in Jacksonville, FL. You might want to contact the club sports departments at SUNY Brockport, UR, RIT, St. John Fisher and anything else local to let them know the rink exists. Maybe even host a kickoff college tourney in late april or next fall before the weather turns.
