NARCh Skills Competition!!!

This will be the 5th straight year that NARCh will be hosting a skills
competition at the Finals. As many of you know this is awesome to
watch or participate in.

It's up to you, the coach, to make sure your team is prepared for this
event. To make things smoother at the Finals, we suggest you decide
who is going to have to opportunity to participate before you get to the Finals.

Also, same day sign ups at the Finals will not be taken!

We will be taking sign ups at the merchandise sales booth throughout the tournament but will
close each division the night before the event to get prepared.

Think of it like entering a tournament, you wouldn't register the same day would you?

If you are unfamiliar with the format here are the events:

4 players per team total, 3 skaters and 1 goalie. NO EXCEPTIONS!

1) Fastest Skater- one lap around the rink. Fastest times to figure out
finalists, then head to head. Full equipment is recommended.

2) Showdown Competition- Two shooters will represent your team. This is a
penalty shot. If you keep scoring you keep advancing. If you miss twice
you're eliminated.

3) Top Goalie- Goalies will face the shooters and be eliminated by the
number of goals they allow in relation to the other competing goalies.

The cost for all 4 players is $50. Each participant will receive a skills
competitor t-shirt and the winners will receive awards and be recognized in
NARCh Player!
