    Cutting a composite one piece?

I just bought a Gear one piece stick, and it's a little bit long for me. Is it safe to cut a couple inches off of the shaft, or would that weaken it and make it more likely to break? Should I just try to sell it (or return it) and get one that fits me better? Thanks.

I just play recreational, and was always unsure of one piece sticks, but I figured I'd try this since they're so cheap.

It won't change the flex of a composite anymore then it would a wood stick. Easton used to say that every inch you took off one of their shafts added 10% to the stiffness.

    Im fat, bald, and slow.
