    Which skates to buy?

    I am a size 5 in CCM, Bauers,Tour??
    I am a mens 7 in Missions and I have he150 skates and I
dislike them. They never stay tight on the ankle and supply no support to my foot.
I want to buy a skate that is supportive to my ankles and
can handle a beating on cement/asphalt.
I play in rec leagues and sometimes I get thrown in goal
    and sometimes I play out.
    What would you recommend?
    Bauer, CCM, Tour?
I find the missions to wide for my feet.
I like the Bauer 20-70s but they have latex padding
and I am allergic to latex. The Bauer 30-50s don't seem to have the latex? Any suggestions would be great!

the ccm's are stiff and durable. I would go with the pf6 or pf8's ....

I've seen a few guys have trouble with the PF's with the top eyelets popping out.

Bauer do a boot that is based more on the Vapor line with a black chassis. Seemed pretty good for the money at about $160.

The Tours are decent boots but pretty heavy, but if your a young guy that may not be too bad for leg strength.

If you can just go to your LHS and try as many pairs as they have of different brands. To an extent ignore the make of boot just go with what feels the best on your feet (obviously better if it's an established brand but don't let brand be the main reason you splash your cash).

None of that stinkin' root beer
