Hockey companies
I love the terms roller hockey companies have been recently using to describe their products. With cool names and words like "Footsox Neoprene Tongue System", "Indy Foam Ankle Pads", "Isolated Ankle Chambers" and "Sensory Carbon Outsole" how could you resist. Oh yeah combine that with some of the flashiest and gayest looking color combinations ever seen and you have gayline hockey. There's a reason why a huge majority of inline players are under 17. Be a man and play ice guys.
GO MLRH HAHAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!

I think the best thing to do with this guy is ignore him.

Re: Hockey companies
PatriotsHockey,
Unfortuantely for you, a majority of semi pro/pro/elite inline hockey players would make you look like the loser you are, on ice (since they grew up playing ice and still do for the most part). Just because you severely lack hockey skill, don't expect to vent here and get away with it.

Re: Hockey companies
Sorry everyone, I posted this after I learned of the only professional roller hockey league left in the country royally screwed over some of it's best teams. It's been nothing short of a joke all season long. Hence my very anti-roller hockey slant in that post. Hopefully a league run by professionals will come about soon.

Re: Hockey companies
Thanks for the apology, not. Its Ice guys like you that make life tough for everyone. Just because a player plays roller doesn't mean he doesn't love hockey. Many of us are better fans to NHL teams than many Ice snobs like yourself. Some of us live in places where there is no ICE so roller is the only hockey we get. Just because your town is a loser in the rollerhockey pro leagues so what! We've all been there for sometime now as inline hockey players and coaches. Gripe somewhere where someone might care what you think, some ice message board somewhere. You know if Ice guys like you would quit looking down there noses at inline hockey maybe the hockey community in general could grow so that the NHL wasn't down the list of major sports behind the NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR. I hope you can play because you sure don't think, before you post anyway.

Re: Hockey companies
Hey man I have played roller hockey for the CRHL and MLRH-AAA, as well as my university's ice hockey team. I actually used to enjoy playing roller hockey but the sport has not shown any kind of growth recently. The CRHL is the most organized roller hockey league I've ever seen and has grown exponentially but the "professional" leagues are a joke. Maybe this Elite League will come through.
Sure there are many great roller hockey players like C.J. Yoder and whoever but do you think they got their amazing skills by playing roller hockey, or by playing junior/minor league ice hockey? I would guess more likely the latter. You can only improve so much with just playing roller hockey.

Re: Hockey companies
While your argument does have some valor, its still a bunch of crap. Hockey is hockey either way u play it. Ice and roller develop different types of skills and have their own advantages and disadvantages. Many of us, play both and love both, its those like you, that even make this an issue. I think the ill feelings that the sports have for each other are not as prevalent as you make them appear. Inline hockey to me, has always been more of the recreational sport (although I wish there was a level after college like the pros), and many of my friends and opponets play both, enjoy both, and dont complain. It is my opinion that you take your sack of horse@#$% and try and pass it off some where else, cuz I and many other like me, simply do not care about what you say. You are more of a pest than anything else, and this forum is for people who actually want to discuss this sport in a serious and mature manner.
